Donna showed us how the Dougy Center helps bereaved children move through their loss in creative & empower ways.

Russell & John W James co-authored The Grief Recovery Handbook, When Children Grieve and Moving On and then the Grief Recovery Method Support Group, which has helped more than 500,000 people. He has made a number of media appearances in the aftermath of national tragedies, like CNN after 911 & most recently on The Today Show, in response to the death of Michael Jackson to help guide parents when children suffer loss. Russel transitioned after our interview on November 26, 2016.

She gave us a behind the scenes perspective on the grief contestants feel from shows like So You Think You Can Dance.

Originally from the state of Kerala, in southern India, he splits his time between there and Dharamshala, in the north. He is married with two boys.
